Description

The PXI-6683H is a high-performance model manufactured by National Instruments. This device is primarily designed to function as a GPS receiver with dynamic antenna processing and supports the IRIG-B standard. With a GPS frequency of 1.575 GHz, it is capable of accurately receiving signals from the Global Positioning System. One of the notable features of the PXI-6683H is its exceptional synchronization accuracy, boasting sub-microsecond synchronization capabilities. This accuracy ensures that time-sensitive applications requiring precise timing synchronization can rely on this device for optimal performance. In terms of synchronization, the PXI-6683H utilizes the pulse per second (PPS) method. This means that it uses the PPS signal to align its internal clock with the most accurate time reference available, usually obtained from a GPS source. By employing this synchronization feature, the device ensures reliable and precise timing alignment, further enhancing the overall performance of the system it is integrated into. Overall, the PXI-6683H from National Instruments is a top-of-the-line GPS receiver that combines dynamic antenna processing, support for the IRIG-B standard, and exceptional synchronization accuracy. With its advanced features and precise timing capabilities, it is a reliable choice for applications that demand sub-microsecond synchronization and highly accurate time referencing.
