Description

778994-03 NI PXI-6562 Digital Wfm is a high-speed digital waveform instrument with deep onboard memory and flexible channel control capabilities. This module allows users to create, edit, and import waveforms using the Digital Waveform Editor and is compatible with other SMC-based instruments for synchronized measurements.

778994-03 NI PXI-6562 Digital Wfm is a 200 Mb/s Digital Waveform Instrument for interfacing to LVDS electronics. This module highlights 100 clock rates individually. Single and double-data-rate modes are included and offer 16 channels with per-channel direction control (in single-data rate mode) and a deep onboard memory with triggering and pattern sequencing. It has an onboard memory of 128 Mb/channel, and an onboard clock frequency range of 48 Hz to 200 MHz. They can be used with the National Instruments Digital Waveform Editor, an interactive programming apparatus for making and altering computerized waveforms. The new modules are built on the common Synchronization and Memory Core (SMC) architecture, so they firmly synchronize with other SMC-based measured instruments. The PXI-6562 allows the user to make and edit patterns interactively with the Digital Waveform Editor, import existing waveforms into National Instruments LabVIEW from VHDL simulation and spreadsheet tools in Value Change Dump (VCD) or ASCII formats, create new waveforms using built-in fill patterns, and edit waveforms intelligently in the UI. The device is equipped with 3 SMB jack and a 12X InfiniBand I/O connector. It weighs 12 oz, and measures 8.5 x 0.8 x 5.1 in. in physical dimensions, with a recommended operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C, and a storage temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. PXI-6562 has been declared obsolete, but will still be available for purchase and repairs by Apex Waves.
