The 779732-01 GPIB-RS232 Controller & Converter, U.S. 120VAC National Instruments GPIB-RS232 GPIB Instrument Control Device is a high-performance IEEE 488.1 and 488.2 compatible GPIB Controller/Converter device. This RoHS-compliant device offers four modes of operation: S, G, C, and D mode. In S mode, users can control GPIB enabled instruments from a personal computer via RS-232, while G mode allows integration of RS232 instruments into the GPIB system and parameter changes through software. C mode enables control of a single GPIB instrument, and D mode allows interfacing of an RS232 device to a live GPIB bus. Optional DIN-rail and rack-mount hardware kits are available for this device, which also features software-selectable operation modes to maintain compatibility with existing GPIB-232CV-A and GPIB-232CT-A devices. With handshaking and data buffering protection mechanisms, this device ensures the integrity of incoming data. Additionally, it is equipped with an internal RAM buffer and supports a maximum data transfer rate of 115.2 kb/s through RS232. Operating over a voltage range of 9 to 28 VDC, this device consumes a maximum current of 800 mA and includes a 2.2 A 125 V non-replicable fuse for safety. Weighing 6.75 oz and measuring 6.3 x 3.68 x 1.24 in., this GPIB Instrument Control Device has recommended operating and storage temperature ranges of 0 to 55°C and -20 to 70°C respectively, as well as operating and storage humidity ranges of 10 to 90% and 5 to 95% respectively. Next Day Air Saver – This cost saving overnight alternative guarantees delivery by 3PM the next day.

2nd Day Air – For domestic shipments that would take 3-5 days if shipped via Ground, sometimes having the order in 2 days is a great way to go

Ground – Ground is the most inexpensive shipping option provided. Please ask if we are doing a “free domestic ground” shipping promotion on your order. We often provide free ground shipping on larger orders.

 

Emergency Courier – At times we can help work with a courier service to get the part to your facility during downtimes scenarios. We prefer that the customer sets up the courier but we can be there to make sure the product is handed off to the driver. Please give us a call to see if this is an option on your order.
