Part number 781421-10, the NI SWB-2810 (also known as Part Number 781420-10), is a 1 A, 4 x 43 Reed Matrix Module designed for the National Instruments SwitchBlock. This high-performance module offers up to 150 V or 1 A switching with a maximum power of 20 watts, making it a reliable and versatile solution for various switching applications.

Part number 781421-10, the NI SWB-2810 (also known as Part Number 781420-10) is a 1 A, 4 x 43 Reed Matrix Module designed for the National Instruments SwitchBlock. This module offers up to 150 V or 1 A switching with a maximum power of 20 watts. It can be configured to operate as a 4 x 258 matrix module in a single carrier and expanded up to 4 x 1032 matrixes in a PXI chassis. The reed relays with Iridium contact material on this module can operate or release in less than a millisecond in typical conditions and require 20 watts of power at 5 V or 5 watts at 3.3 V. Equipped with a 96-position SCSI I/O connector, this Matrix Module can drive a total of 176 relays simultaneously while providing a reliable switching solution with high electrical and mechanical relay life. Each relay requires up to 50 mW of power to operate, ensuring that the total power consumption for relays does not exceed 8.8 watts. The NI SWB-2810 is a CAT I device and can only be used in systems below 150 V.
