1.87E-25 PXI-8170/850 MHz, Embedded Controller with option of Localized OS National Instruments PXI-8170 PXI Controller is a highly efficient and powerful embedded PXI/CompactPCI computer. Equipped with an Intel Processor and packaged into a compact 3U Eurocard size, this controller is designed for faster system performance and maximum computing power. It operates with all CompactPCI and PXI peripheral modules and comes with the option of pre-installed Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows NT. The NI PXI-8170 also offers pre-loaded National Instruments application software such as LabWindows/CVI and LabVIEW. Featuring a BX chipset from Intel, the standard configuration includes 1 ultra DMA33 hard drive, 1 serial port, 1 parallel port, a 3.5 in. 1.44 MB floppy drive, 1 USB port, integrated Super VGA with 2 MB DRA, and 64 MB of 100 MHz SDRAM that is expandable up to 256 MB. With dimensions of 8.1 by 13 by 21.6 cm, and weight around 1.1 Kg (2.4 lb), this model requires 1 system slot and 3 controller expansion slots for deployment. The NI PXI-8170 can be interfaced directly to PXI-1020 and PXI-1025 chassis, utilizing PCI local bus and accelerated graphics ports for peripheral expansion. The AGP interface offers a bus speed of 266 Mbytes/s, while the PCI bus provides a maximum throughput of 132 Mbytes. In the case of new parts, we are always sure to package the factory box inside another larger box for safe transit. For reconditioned parts we often use Distribution Cache customized packaging that is specially made to protect the products from the bumps and falls present during shipment.
Shipping Options:
Next Day Air Early AM - This service is the fastest overnight delivery option available. For most locations the package will be guaranteed by 8:30AM.
Next Day Air – This service guarantees delivery by 10:30AM and is the most frequently used option for overnight shipments.
Next Day Air Saver – This cost saving overnight alternative guarantees delivery by 3PM the next day.
2nd Day Air – For domestic shipments that would take 3-5 days if shipped via Ground, sometimes having the order in 2 days is a great way to go
Ground – Ground is the most inexpensive shipping option provided. Please ask if we are doing a “free domestic ground” shipping promotion on your order. We often provide free ground shipping on larger orders.
Emergency Courier – At times we can help work with a courier service to get the part to your facility during downtimes scenarios. We prefer that the customer sets up the courier but we can be there to make sure the product is handed off to the driver. Please give us a call to see if this is an option on your order.
