The National Instruments PXIe-1487 is a PXI FlexRIO GMSL™ Interface Module, known by the part number 130618C-14L. This module is specifically designed for high-speed digital communication in vision and imaging applications. By integrating the Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link interface from Maxim Integrated with the Xilinx FPGA, the PXIe-1487 offers a high-throughput and adaptable GMSL interface on the PXI platform. With configurations including 8 Input, 8 Output, and 4 Input/4 Output options, you can choose the perfect module for your application needs. The PXIe-1487 also features an innovative FlexRIO driver for power-over-coax, I²C backchannel communication, and GPIO operations over GMSL™ channels, making it easier to control and access these channels. When combined with LabVIEW FPGA, you can quickly develop your custom interface. To use the PXIe-1487 effectively, a PXIe chassis with a slot cooling capacity of at least 58W, as well as a camera or device for Deserializer/SerDes modules, engine control unit for Serializer/SerDes modules, and a PXI Express embedded controller or PC with MXI controller system are required. The PXIe-1487 is the ideal choice for ADAS and AD camera sensors and ECUs, as it offers maximum performance and flexibility for your vision and imaging projects.
