130906D-02L is the part number for the National Instruments PXIe-1486 FlexRIO FPD-Link Interface Module. This module integrates the FPD-Link interface from Texas Instruments with the Xilinx FPGA, making it ideal for high-throughput vision and imaging applications. Specifically designed for use in hardware-in-the-loop testing, lab-based playback, and in-vehicle data logging, the PXIe-1486 is well-suited for the automotive industry. It offers a high-speed digital interface for testing advanced driver assistance systems, video sensors, and electronic control units for autonomous driving applications. Available in several variations, including 8 input deserializer, 8 output serializer, and 4 input/4 output serializer configurations, the PXIe-1486 features 4-lane CSI-2 interfaces with 800 Mbps per lane. It requires a chassis with a slot cooling capacity of at least 58 W and utilizes GPIO, CSI-2, and I2C for communication. The serial input and output channels both use coaxial FAKRA Male Code Z connectors, with a maximum data rate of 4.16 Gb/s. The current for the serial input channels is 400 mA/channel, while the serial output channels support up to 800 mA/channel. Apex Waves offers the PXIe-1486 for purchase and repair services.
