Description

Part number 133030F-06L, also known as the National Instruments PXIe-1487, is a high-speed PXI FlexRIO GMSL™ Interface Module designed for vision and imaging applications. With different configurations of serializers and deserializers and innovative features like power-over-coax and GPIO operations, the PXIe-1487 is ideal for hardware-in-the-loop, lab-based playback, or in-vehicle data logging projects.

Part number 133030F-06L refers to the National Instruments PXIe-1487, a PXI FlexRIO GMSL™ Interface Module designed for high-speed digital communication in vision and imaging applications. This module combines the Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link interface from Maxim Integrated with Xilinx FPGA to provide a high-throughput and adaptable GMSL interface on PXI. The PXIe-1487 offers different configurations of serializers and deserializers, including 8 input, 8 output, and 4 input/4 output options to suit specific application needs. With an innovative FlexRIO driver enabling power-over-coax, I²C backchannel communication, and GPIO operations over GMSL™ channels, controlling and accessing channels is made easier. The PXIe-1487 is best suited for applications requiring hardware-in-the-loop, lab-based playback, or in-vehicle data logging, such as ADAS and AD camera sensors and ECUs. To effectively utilize this module, a PXIe chassis with a slot cooling capacity of at least 58 W and a camera or device for Deserializer/SerDes modules, along with an engine control unit for Serializer/SerDes modules are required. Additionally, a PXI Express embedded controller or PC with MXI controller system is necessary. With its performance and flexibility, the PXIe-1487 is an ideal choice for achieving success in vision and imaging projects.
